Searching for Medals

My name is Victoria Bossidy and I recently enlisted in the navy. Because of this, my father, a fourth generation veteran started to hand down a lot of family military memorablia. When he was younger he remembers seeing a wooden box, with a glass front in my great grandfather, Frank Bossidy's basement that held all of his war medals. When he passed away those medals were donated to the Wallingford American Legion. Through contacting passed Legion men we have come to a dead end. When the Legion closed the items inside the building were randomly distreibuted to members of the Legion.
