“This year’s hunt will be one for the ages.”
That’s how the Wallingford Parks and Rec fall brochure describes this year’s Thanksgiving Turkey Hunt, which takes place on Friday night, November 16, 2012.
To take part, start by picking up a packet of certified clues at the Parks and Recreation Department at 6 Fairfield Boulevard at 7 p.m. Those clues will lead you to nine cardboard turkeys and a bonus chicken hidden around town.
Return one of the turkeys or the bonus rubber chicken to the Parks and Rec Department to win a gift certificate.
This free evening of fun is something the whole family can do together. So gather your brood and get ready for some turkey hunting!
