Wallingford Police Blotter: Failure to Meet Safe Driving Requirements

Local arrests for Sept. 14—21

 

The following information was provided by the Wallingford Police Department. Inclusion on this list does not reflect a conviction.

  • Elise Pasquale, 19, of 339 Howd Road, Durham was charged on Sept. 14 with sixth degree larceny/shoplifting.
  • Gilbert Santiago, 31, of 278 S. Elm St., Wallingford was charged on Sept. 14 with operation under suspension and failure to wear seat safety belt in front seat. Bond was set at $1,000.
  • Donny Powell, 29, of 36 Lake Drive, Berlin was charged on Sept. 14 with operating an unregistered motor vehicle, operation under suspension, and mandatory security requirements. Bond was set at $1,000.
  • Luis Ordaz, 22, of 143 Cherry Hill Road, Hamden was charged on Sept. 15 with sixth degree larceny/shoplifting.
  • Peter Cotrona, 48, of 1093 N. Farms Road, Wallingford was charged on Sept. 15 with operating an unregistered motor vehicle, failure to meet minimum insurance requirements, evading responsibility, driving wrong was on one way highway, unsafe backing, operating a motor vehicle other than motorcycle without a license, and operating a motor vehicle under the influence of drugs/alcohol. Bond was set at $500.
  • Salvatore Bova, 21, of 144 East St., Wallingford was charged on Sept. 17 with operating an unregistered motor vehicle, misuse of plates, failure to display plate/stickers or improper location of sticker, and failure to meet minimum insurance requirements.
  • Todd Perry, 37, of 25 Geneva Ave., Wallingford was charged on Sept. 17 with failure to meet minimum insurance requirements, operation with suspended registration, and defective windshield or wipers.
  • Kyla Peters, 23, of 42 S. Cherry St., Wallingford was charged on Sept. 17 with fifth degree larceny/shoplifting. Bond was set at $1,000.
  • Sultan Al-Johani, 23, of 400 Blake St., New Haven was charged on Sept. 18 with operation with suspended registration, operation under suspension, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, traveling too fast for conditions, and failure to display plate/stickers or improper location of sticker. Bond was set at $500.
  • Nicole Soares, 26, of 43 Stonefield Drive, Waterbury was charged on Sept. 18 with sixth degree larceny, reckless driving, and operation under suspension.
  • Michael Anderson, 37, of 1015 N. Main St. Ext., Wallingford was charged on Sept. 18 with breach of peace.
  • John Augustniak, 58, of 14 Center St., Wallingford was charged on Sept. 19 with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of drugs/alcohol, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, and failure to drive right except wide load. Bond was set at $5,000.
  • Nicholaus Sinon, 26, of 278 S. Elm St., Wallingford was charged on Sept. 19 with third degree burglary, third degree larceny, third degree con/burglary, and third degree con/larceny.
  • Daniel Alford, 34, of 226 Brentwood Drive, Wallingford was charged on Sept. 19 with misuse of plates, failure to carry license, failure to drive a reasonable distance apart, and operating an unregistered motor vehicle. Bond was set at $2,500.
  • Kenneth Rushford, 20, of 57 Indian Lane, Durham was charged on Sept. 19 with evading responsibility and failure to drive a reasonable distance apart.
  • Mark Ohara II, 27, of 49 Hubinger St., New Haven was charged on Sept. 19 with operation under suspension.
