Wallingford Man Caught in Statewide Child Pornography Investigation

The Wallingford area man is among 18 suspects arrested in a statewide investigation.


A Wallingford resident is facing child pornography charges — the result of a statewide Connecticut State Police investigation.

According to state police, detectives from the Connecticut State Police Computer Crimes Unit, assisted by members of the State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigations and Sex Offenders Unit, conducted an arrest warrant sweep across the state on Thursday, March 27. 

"After several lengthy and thorough investigations, 18 people from across the state were arrested," state police said in a press release. The Connecticut State Police Computer Crimes Investigations Unit is also the command for Connecticut’s Internet Crimes Against Children’s Task Force.

Arrested from Wallingford was:

Steven Hanisko, 51; of 50 Carpenter Ln.; charged with second-degree possession of child pornography. Bond was set at $50,000 and he's scheduled to appear April 8 in state Superior Court in Meriden.

Arrested from Meriden was:

Charles Fuller, 48, of 55 Willow Street N.; charged with first-degree possession of child pornography; promoting a minor in an obscene performance and obscenity. Bond was set at $50,000 and he's scheduled to appear April 8 in state Superior Court in Meriden.
