Meriden Man Charged With Selling Drugs in Wallingford

Joseph Christoni is scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 30.

A Meriden man was arrested in Wallingford last week on drug charges stemming from an investigation in 2011.

Joseph Christoni, 25, of 43 Sagamore Drive, faces charges of possession of narcotics and possession of narcotics with intent to sell.

Wallingford police spokesman Lt. Marc Mikulski said Christoni was taken into custody from his home without incident on a warrant stemming from a 2011 Narcotics Division investigation.

The Record-Journal newspaper reported that Christoni allegedly sold oxycodone pills to a police informant in December of that year. Read their full story here.

Christoni posted a total $20,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in Meriden Superior Court on Jan. 30.
