Folk-Pop Concert at Wallingford Library

Wallingford Public Library, 200 North Main
Street, Wallingford, presents local musician Kenny Ward Thursday, July 31 at
7:00 p.m.
“I don’t
think you should ever take yourself too seriously. I just want everyone to have
fun.” That’s how Kenny Ward, a Connecticut based singer/songwriter, likes to go
about things. With his happy-go-lucky attitude pushing him along, he now is
forging the path to musical success. Playing the local scene, he has opened for
Ryan Cabrera, Teddy Geiger, Jillian Jensen and many more. With influences
ranging from Jack Johnson to Lily Allen, he has been able to craft a folk-pop
sound with razor sharp lyrics. In 2012, Kenny released his first official
single, “Free (Alive ‘n Well)” to iTunes and Spotify, followed by “Something
Real” in 2013. To hear more, you can find Kenny on BandCamp, SoundCloud, and
YouTube. SoundCloud link: https://soundcloud.com/kennywardmusic
