Santa has a special corps of elves in Wallingford who are helping to bring a treat to children in town. They are arranging for Santa to call and write letters directly to Wallingford kids.
Santa Hotline
Your child could get a call from the Santa Hotline on December 10 or 12 between 4 and 6 p.m. To sign up to be one of the 35 lucky children who get a call from the North Pole on each of those days, visit the Wallingford Parks and Recreation Department at 6 Fairfield Boulevard and pick up a registration form. Special Delivery Letters from the North Pole
Your child could also receive an authentic letter from the jolly old elf. Just drop off your child’s letter to Santa at Vinny’s Garden Center,1076 South Colony Road, between November 26 and December 16, 2012, and Santa will write back! (Please note that the Parks and Recreation Department is no longer coordinating this special delivery service.)
