Library Holds Walk-in Flu Clinics This Week

On Thursday and Saturday, the VNA will hold flu clinics at the Wallingford Public Library.

Have you gotten your flu shot yet? Here’s your chance. The Wallingford Health Department is sponsoring walk-in flu clinics at the library this week on Thursday evening and Saturday afternoon.

Seasonal flu vaccination is now recommended for everyone age 6 months and older. The flu vaccine protects people from the three strains of influenza that are likely to be circulating this flu season. Flu vaccines provide annual protection, and flu strains change regularly, so it is important to get a new flu shot every year.
