Go Apple-Picking In New Haven County
There's nothing better than locally grown apples (except maybe pies made with locally grown apples) - here's your complete guide to local orchards!

But this season, if you're looking to get your hands on the fresh-picked fruit, you should go soon.
Blue Hills Orchard in Wallingford offers numerous opportunities for local residents, but there are plenty of options in New Haven County. Don't delay though, because time is running out on the season to get the best goods.
"The apples are early this year thanks to a mild winter and spring so if you're planning to go apple picking, it would be smart to go soon," said Abbie Walston, whose family own Rose Orchards in North Branford.
